Before you upload

Confirm that you own the source video or have permission to download and process it before saving a local copy.

Recommended workflow for reliable results

For beta testing, download the video file legally through a method you are allowed to use, then upload the local MP4, MOV, AVI, or MKV file to FrameNotes. This avoids most platform-access failures and gives the processing pipeline a stable input.

FrameNotes accepts the saved local file and does not retrieve the source from a pasted link.

What FrameNotes shows for unsupported input

If no local video is selected, FrameNotes asks the user to upload one before creating a job.
