FrameNotes keeps upload, screenshot extraction, transcription, and export visible as separate stages, so you can understand what the tool is doing and where a task needs attention.
Choose a local MP4, MOV, AVI, or MKV file. Local upload is the most reliable path in the current beta, which accepts videos under 30 minutes and files under 500 MB. A task ID is created after the upload finishes so progress can be restored after a refresh.
FrameNotes scans the timeline for meaningful visual changes, captures representative keyframes, and filters near-duplicate images. The goal is to keep slides, diagrams, interface states, and other screen context that would be lost in a transcript-only note.
The audio track is sent to the configured speech-to-text provider. When timestamp data is available, transcript segments are placed beside the screenshot visible at that moment. Accuracy depends on audio clarity, language support, and provider availability.
